News of the Supreme Council

The program of windows replacement in the entrances of houses is being completed in the Borodinsky district of Tiraspol, the interests of the residents of which are represented by the deputy of the Supreme Council Vadim Lipsky. The project is being implemented under the program of the Foundation for the Execution of Voters' Orders. Most of the budget funds allocated to the district, the deputy sent for repairs in the entrances of six houses this year.

Meeting of the Consultative Assembly of Pridnestrovian deputies was held today. Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev answers questions. The meeting was attended by the Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg.

The first Pridnestrovian deputies paid tribute to the memory of their colleague, the PMR Supreme Council Deputy of the first convocation Nikolai Ostapenko today. He would have turned 69 years old.

Ambassador of Germany to the Republic of Moldova Margret Uebber, who took office in August of this year, paid a familiarization visit to Pridnestrovie today. The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov received the German diplomat in the PMR Supreme Council.

The deputies considered law-in-draft proposing to replace the annual distribution of school supplies with a cash payment for children from large families whose average income is below the subsistence level at a plenary session of the Supreme Council. The annual amount under the current legislation is 24 minimum wages.

Parliamentarians adopted a number of legislations that relate to the economy in the first reading at the current plenary session.

The deputies supported at the plenary session a package of legislations that introduce amendments and additions to the Housing and Civil Codes, as well as to the law "On drinking water supply in the PMR".

Deputies of the Supreme Council discussed the amendments proposed by the government to the law "On social protection of war veterans". The law-in-draft concerns the use by war invalids of benefits for dental prosthetics using metal ceramics.

The PMR Supreme Council deputies considered amendments and adopted the law on the budget for 2023 in the third final reading. The document will be sent for signature to the PMR President in the near future.
