Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War,
front-line soldiers and home front workers!
Dear Pridnestrovians!
I cordially congratulate you on the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!
How much sense in this short, but such a capacious word "Victory". It contains the heroism and courage of millions of Soviet citizens and more than 17 thousand of our countrymen, those who have never returned to their home, those who paid with their blood for our freedom and a happy life. The hardest work of the rear, sleepless nights, which every day brought this great Victory closer is in this word.
Time flies quickly, more and more new generations are growing up, but the heroic deed of the Soviet people will never be erased from our memory, for the deed of the people is immortal.
The Victory Day goes further and further into the depths of years, but its historical significance is enormous. Let all wars remain in the past, and only a peaceful and bright future awaits us.
I wish with all my heart you and your loved ones a peaceful sky over your head, goodness, prosperity, good health, vivacity and happiness! Our children and grandchildren will remember and honor the memory of you, dear veterans, and your names will forever remain in our hearts.
Thanks for the Victory!
Happy holiday!
Chairman of the Supreme Council
of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
