The Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council held a meeting in the briefing room

The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic determined the date of the next plenary session, filled its agenda and supplemented the agenda of the plenary session to be held tomorrow, May 11.

Members of the Presidium gathered today in the briefing room for the first time since April 2020. Meetings of the Presidium were held weekly online during the declared Covid-19 pandemic.

The members of the Presidium supplemented the agenda of the plenary meeting, which will be held on May 11, with three items. These are reports on the implementation in 2022 of the state target programs "Textbook" and "Development Strategy of Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko", as well as changes to the program for the execution of voters' orders for 2023.

The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic at the suggestion of Speaker Alexander Korshunov voted to set the date for the next plenary session of the Parliament on May 17. The agenda of the 11th meeting of the 5th session of the 7th convocation included 16 legislative initiatives prepared by the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. Among them, there is approval of the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2022, amendments and additions to the law on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, to the Code of Administrative Offenses (penalties for violation of the rules for the placement of production and consumption waste), amendments to the Criminal and Criminal – procedural codes of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The agenda of the meeting of the Supreme Council on May 17 also includes legislations prepared for consideration in the first or second readings by the Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media.
