The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated the personnel service employees of the PMR on their professional holiday.

Deputies approved amendments to the law “On Pledge” at the last plenary meeting. The law-in-draft presented by the PMR President was adopted in the second final reading.

The law-in-draft “On advocacy and the legal profession in the PMR” was adopted in the second non-final reading by the Supreme Council. The Committee on Legislation will prepare the document for adoption in the third reading.

The Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading the Criminal Code amendments concerning the expansion of signs of extremist activity for which they can be held accountable.

The deputy corps supported in the first reading a package of legislations on amendments and additions to the PMR Law “On Cinematography” and the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The law-in-draft, which returns to the Ministry of Education the right to determine the procedure and timing of current and intermediate certification in schools and technical schools, was adopted in two readings at once.

Heads of parliamentary committees and commissions gathered today in online format at the meeting of the Presidium, which was held by the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov. Current issues of legislative activity were discussed.

Monetary assets from the Fund for the Execution of Voters’ Orders in constituency No.1 “Solnechny” of Bendery were allocated for the improvement of sidewalks and courtyard areas last year.
