The issues in the field of registration were considered in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Legislation. The deputies of the Committee on Legislation decided to recommend for adoption in the first reading the President's law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the law "On the right of citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence within the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". It is proposed to provide citizens with the opportunity to be removed from the register at their place of residence in the event of leaving the republic or in the event of being outside the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic without their registration in the territory of Pridnestrovie.

It will be necessary to present supporting documents, the list of which will be established by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The deputies will consider the law-in-draft in the first reading at one of the plenary sessions of the Supreme Council.

Another initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic   concerns the expansion of the powers of the heads of village (settlement) administrations. Amendments have been proposed to the laws "On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" and "On migration registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". It is proposed to attribute to the powers of the heads of villages the receipt and transfer of documents to the migration registration authority for registration and deregistration at the place of residence of citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons, explained the Committee Chairperson Galina Antyufeeva in the course of the meeting. These legislations are recommended by the Committee for adoption in the first reading.
