Amendments to the law "On universal military duty and military service", clarifying the rules on granting a deferment to doctors were adopted in the first reading.

"The Heirs of Victory" youth patriotic movement leadership was received by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky today. The initiator of the creation and the leader of the movement is the Supreme Council deputy Igor Buga.

The Supreme Council considered and adopted law-in-draft on road safety in the first reading. It is proposed to punish those who use personal mobility devices for driving while intoxicated.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading today amendments and additions to the law "On the Republican Budget for 2024", which, based on the results of 9 months, redistributed financial resources, adjusted the deficit parameters and indicators of the revenue and expenditure parts of the state budget.

Deputies supported in the first reading the legislative initiative of the PMR President on amendments to the law "On perpetuating the memory of those killed in defense of the Fatherland".

Deputies Oleg Leontyev and Vladimir Timofeyev proposed to extend some measures of support for Pridnestrovian economic entities, enshrined in the law "On certification of products and services". The deputy corps supported the initiative in two readings at once at the plenary session.

The Information and Media Relations Department of the Supreme Council of the PMR announces the start of accepting applications for accreditation of journalists and media employees to cover the work of the Supreme Council in 2025. Applications for accreditation can be submitted until December 20 of the current year.

The deputy corps will consider legislative initiatives developed by the PMR Supreme Council deputies, the PMR Government and the PMR Prosecutor at tomorrow's plenary session.

The grand opening of the XVI Republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the topic of human rights took place in the PMR Constitutional Court. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov sent a welcoming address to the participants.
