The PMR Supreme Council supported the initiative of fellow parliamentarians in the second final reading. Detailed rules for the transition of students will be established in a by-law that will be developed by the Ministry of Education and approved by the Government.

Prevention and treatment of HIV infection, sexually transmitted infections, viral hepatitis B and C will continue this year in the PMR. The Supreme Council adopted the state program in the second final reading.

The Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council, chaired by the Speaker of Parliament Alexander Korshunov, set the date of the next plenary session and determined the content of the agendas for the upcoming meetings.

The memory of internationalist soldiers was honored in Tiraspol on February 15. The withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was completed on this day 36 years ago.

The events dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan were held in the cities and districts of Pridnestrovie on February 14 and 15.

The Soviet troops withdrawal from Afghanistan was completed on February 15, 1989. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the Pridnestrovians on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Glory of Internationalist Soldiers.

Improving road safety, document processing convenience, the right to judicial protection – these and other issues were reflected in the legislations that the deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms worked on and that were adopted as laws.
