The Supreme Council Presidium Meeting, 18.02.2025

The next plenary session of the autumn session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will be held on the 26th of February. The date was set in the course of the meeting today by the Presidium of the Supreme Council, chaired by the Speaker of Parliament Alexander Korshunov. The Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Public Utilities put a package of 10 legislations accompanying the draft Urban Development Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the draft law "On the introduction of the Urban Development Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" on the agenda of the meeting of the deputy corps next week. The Supreme Council is planned to consider these legislative initiatives in the first reading. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance proposes a number of legislations in the economic sphere for adoption by deputies, including amendments to the laws "On the Fundamentals of the Tax System in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic", "On Purchases in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic", etc. 

The next plenary session of the Pridnestrovian parliament will be held tomorrow, February 19, in the plenary session hall. The main agenda of the meeting today was supplemented by legislations prepared by the Committees on Economic Policy, Social Policy and Education. Thus, it is planned to adopt in two readings at once a package of legislative initiatives to soften the rules of the special tax regime – simplified taxation system. It is planned to adopt in the second reading a new state program for the prevention and treatment of HIV infection, viral hepatitis and STIs, which will be in effect from 2025 to 2028 inclusive.
