They honored in Slobodzeya district the memory of Nikolai Ostapenko, who stood at the origins of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Russian-Moldavian comprehensive school No. 7 of Dubossary celebrated its 100th anniversary. Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 10 "Severny" Oleg Bayev congratulated the school staff on the anniversary date

Farewell ceremony was held for the deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic of the II and III convocations Mikhail Katkov in Bendery, in the fortress church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky on December 14. Relatives, colleagues, deputies of the Supreme Council, and comrades-in-arms came to say goodbye to the famous statesman and public figure.

The Youth Parliament Presidium under the PMR Supreme Council meeting took place at the end of last week.

Deputy of the Supreme Council of the II and III convocations Mikhail Katkov passed away at the age of 80. Mikhail Katkov headed the Pridnestrovian Association of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan more than 15 years.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Igor Yarych inspected the repair work being carried out in the medical clinic of the village of Kitskany at the expense of the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Instructions. The youth club will be opened in the village House of Culture, according to the deputy program.

The Supreme Council adopted in two readings at once the law-in-draft of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky on the advance payment of pensions and other social payments for January 2025.
