The PMR Supreme Council adopted at a plenary session in the first reading today the draft of the new law "On state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of the reduction (termination) of natural gas supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". In the mode of legislative necessity, this law-in-draft was sent to the Supreme Council by the PMR President.
The automated fare payment system mechanism discussion at the Supreme Council was initiated by parliamentarians based on appeals from transport workers concerned about how fixed-route taxis will operate on city, suburban and intercity routes from January 1, 2025.
