It has been proposed to extend the state of emergency in the republic for another 30 days. Another meeting of the PMR Security Council was held, dedicated to the energy crisis in the republic. The Pridnestrovian side, was represented by the Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Belous, Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva, First Deputy Chairman of the Government – Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and his deputy Alexander Stetsyuk in addition to the PMR President.
The PMR Supreme Council held a meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance and a meeting of the parliamentary Presidium on January 9. The main issues on the agenda of the online meetings were the approval of the Decree of the President of the PMR on the extension of the state of emergency in Pridnestrovie for another 30 days.
The President noted the humanitarian and technical assistance to Pridnestrovie from the Russian Federation and asked the leadership of the Republic of Moldova not to speculate on the topic of the energy crisis.
The meeting was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeeva, deputies Viktor Guzun, Sergey Cheban, Oleg Leontyev, Andrey Safonov and Gregory Dyachenko.
