The Supreme Council supported in the first reading the law-in-draft of the deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, which prescribes cases of granting a readjournment of punishment for a certain category of convicts who have children.
The Supreme Council adopted in the final reading the legislations of the PMR Prosecutor concerning the granting of additional powers to him. This concerns the right of the PMR Prosecutor to initiate and investigate cases only in relation to official crimes.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held an extended meeting to prepare for the celebration of the anniversary of the liberation of Pridnestrovie from the German-Romanian invaders and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The PMR Supreme Council continued to work in the VIII session of the VII convocation on amendments and additions to the legislation related to the economic policy of the state. Amendments were made to the laws regulating the tax, customs, and budget spheres, as well as for the development of entrepreneurship and support of the republic's industry.
