The Video Conference

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and members of parliament took part in a conference call held by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky in an online format. The heads of cities and districts informed about the fulfillment of social obligations, the implementation of state and municipal programs, the presidential press service reports.

The housing and communal services department is replacing the roofs of three apartment buildings, and routine repairs are underway in eight high-rise buildings in Tiraspol. 168 trees will be planted on the embankment of Bendery within a week. The head of the city Roman Ivanchenko spoke about the need to allocate funds to replace the elevator in the five-story building of the Bendery city hospital.

Additional funds are needed to complete the repairs at the polyclinic of Slobodzeya. According to the head of the Slobodzeya state administration Vasily Tishchenko, the first and second floors need to be put in order. Funding in the amount of 4 million rubles is needed for these purposes. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to prepare materials on all healthcare facilities in need of repair. A separate meeting will be devoted to this area.

The meeting participants discussed preparations for the Easter holidays, for the anniversaries of the liberation of cities and regions of the republic from the German-Romanian invaders and for the Great Victory Day. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the need to involve young people in tidying up the graves of defenders, monuments and in the improvement of the adjacent territories.

The President focused on the topic of the inadmissibility of distorting history. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended holding round tables on the topic of the Holocaust and fascism, noting that educational work in this area should be carried out systematically.
