Volunteers of “The Heirs of Victories” movement help lonely pensioners prepare firewood for kindling the stove. It is important in these difficult times, when there are no gas supplies to the PMR, to help Pridnestrovians who do not have loved ones nearby, emphasized the deputy of the Supreme Council and the head of “The Heirs of Victories” movement Igor Buga.

Most Pridnestrovian enterprises have stopped production due to the lack of gas, which means that taxes will not go to the republic's budget. The state will continue to pay salaries, pensions and benefits in this situation. The accumulated budget resources will be enough for the first period of 2025, noted the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, commenting on the extension of the state of emergency in the economy.

Deputies unanimously supported at today's emergency meeting of the Pridnestrovian Parliament the draft Resolution "On the Statement of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the necessity of taking Urgent Measures to prevent Humanitarian Catastrophe in Pridnestrovie".

The Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Sergey Obolonik and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev at the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the Supreme Council told the deputies about the current situation in the republic and measures to prevent the energy crisis.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted in two readings today the amendments to the law on support measures during the state of emergency in the economy. The new support measures concern privileged categories of citizens whose homes have electric and gas boilers.

The PMR Supreme Council approved the Presidential Decree on the extension of the state of emergency in the territory of Pridnestrovie for another 30 days.

The statement adoption is caused by the ongoing energy and humanitarian crisis caused by the cessation of Russian gas supplies to the republic.

The Supreme Council Deputy Igor Buga addressed voters of his constituency No. 29 and offered help from the volunteer squad of "The Heirs of Victories" youth movement in sawing and chopping firewood.
