05.03.2025

The Supreme Council unanimously approved the Decree of the PMR President on extending the state of emergency in the economy for another 30 days at the 4th emergency meeting – until April 9. The previous Decree of the head of state expires on March 10.

The volumes of natural gas are still insufficient to launch industrial enterprises despite the fact that gas supply to Pridnestrovie was resumed on February 1, and since February 14 the republic began to receive gas through a Russian loan. The republic's leadership is currently working to increase gas supply volumes to Pridnestrovie.

The state treasury has faced a catastrophic loss of income due to the continued downtime of the republic's budget-forming enterprises. To date, the republic's leadership has been forced to suspend almost all development programs in order to accumulate budget funds and fulfill its social obligations to citizens, namely, to pay pensions, benefits and salaries to public sector employees in full and on time.
