The agenda of the plenary meeting for March 19 has been supplemented

The Presidium members discussed at the meeting of the Presidium, held in the Supreme Council of the PMR on Tuesday, March 18 the legislations received and considered at the meetings of the specialized Committees and supplemented the agendas of the upcoming plenary meetings.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms prepared a number of legislations for consideration by the deputy corps, which were proposed to be submitted to the plenary meeting on March 19 at the Presidium meeting. These include among other things the amendments to the Criminal Code proposed by the deputies, which provide for the humanization of criminal legislation for convicted women and men who have children under 14 years of age. The deputy corps will consider in the second reading tomorrow the draft laws proposed by the PMR Prosecutor to empower investigators of the PMR Prosecutor's Office to conduct preliminary investigations. The relevant Committee has prepared amendments for the second reading of the package of legislations.

The Supreme Council of the PMR will hear the report of the PMR Prosecutor on the state of law and order in the republic in 2024 in the course of the plenary session on March 26, at the suggestion of the Legislation Committee.

The head of the parliamentary Commission on Mandates, Regulations and Parliamentary Ethics Grigory Dyachenko informed the Presidium of the need to send questions to the Government as part of the presentation of the report of the highest executive body of power on the work for 2024. Questions on topics and problems of concern to parliamentarians should be sent to the Commission by Friday so that on Tuesday at the meeting the Presidium can send a list of questions to the Government of Pridnestrovie.
