Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated scientists and employees of research institutes and higher educational institutions of the republic on their professional holiday.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairperson Galina Antyufeeva thanked the volunteers of the headquarters "We are near" for helping single pensioners, disabled people, large and low-income families during the energy crisis. Activists delivered food, medicine, heaters, and provided information and psychological assistance.

The state of emergency in the economy has been extended until March 10. The republican budget parameters will be revised due to the energy crisis. The PMR Supreme Council adopted in the second final reading the Law of the PMR "On the repeal of the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On the development of information blockchain technologies in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The law-in-draft was sent to the parliament for consideration by the PMR President.

The parameters of the law "On the republican budget for 2025" will be revised due to the difficult economic situation that is developing as a result of the energy crisis. This was reported to journalists by the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Viktor Guzun.

Deputies of the Supreme Council supported in the first reading the legislations concerning the increase of benefits for orphans from January 1, 2026.

The Supreme Council deputies adopted legislations stimulating organizations and individual entrepreneurs to hire physically challenged people of groups I and II in the first reading.

The Supreme Council approved at the 3rd emergency meeting the decree of the PMR President on extending the state of emergency in the economy until March 10 inclusive.

The Code of Administrative Offenses has introduced a separate fine for driving an electric scooter and other personal mobility devices while intoxicated. The law-in-draft was adopted in the second final reading.
