News of the Supreme Council

The Parliament considered at the plenary session more than 15 legislations, some of which contained a large number of amendments and were discussed for a long time. In particular, the measures to support citizens and entrepreneurs during the state of emergency and quarantine were extended by deputies.

Law-in-draft that improves the norms governing admission to master's programs and the conditions for obtaining further higher professional education was adopted by deputies in the final reading.

Deputies supported the legislative initiative of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky on amending the Law "On the Budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund of the PMR for 2022" at the plenary session today. The amendments provide for additional payments for Russian pensioners, who are now suffering financial losses due to the exchange rate difference.

The PMR Supreme Council supported at the plenary session the legislative initiative of the PMR President to extend the regime of quarantine restrictions for another 3 months. The document was adopted in two readings at once.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and Head of the Committee on Economic Policy Viktor Guzun heard information from the Accounts Chamber on the work done over the past year.

The Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council determined the agenda of the plenary meeting that is scheduled for the 30th of March.

Memorial rally was held at the stele installed at the Rogovskaya junction today. Defenders of Pridnestrovie died at this place 30 years ago. Their memory was honored by the leadership of the city, deputies of the Supreme Council Boris German and Oleg Bayev.

The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the PMR summed up the work for 2021. The extended meeting was organized via videoconference. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media Igor Buga took part in the work.
