News of the Supreme Council

Regular plenary session of the PMR Youth Parliament was held. It was devoted this time to several important issues at once. Among them there is assistance to young and enterprising people who sent their projects to participate in the competition "100 Ideas for Pridnestrovie", preparation of amendments to the current legislation and much more.

The day when there is spring in the soul, a smile on the face, and flowers in the hands. Today is the 8th of March. Deputies of the Supreme Council congratulated Pridnestrovian women on International Women's Day.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated the beautiful half of humanity on the occasion of March 8.

"The Slobodzeyskie Vesti" regional newspaper celebrated its 90th anniversary since its foundation. The Parliament Vice-Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and the deputies of the Supreme Council for the Slobodzeya districts arrived to congratulate the veterans and current journalists of the publication.

Regular edition of the Deputy Hour program is on the air.

Several playgrounds have been renovated in the Zapadny microdistrict in Tiraspol. The Soviet ones were replaced by modern bright swings and slides. Exercise machines are installed in two yards. The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva, being Deputy in constituency No. 25, complied with the requests of her voters.

The City Council of People's Deputies of Bendery is celebrating its 105th anniversary. The first session of the Council of deputies and workers in Bendery took place on March 8, 1917. A solemn event on the occasion of the anniversary took place today at the House of Culture named after Pavel Tkachenko. It was attended by the PMR Supreme Council deputies in the city of Bendery.

Today, at the capital's Memorial of Glory, The guardsmen who died 30 years ago in a battle in the village of Kochieri, Dubossary district, were remembered. The Parliament Vice-Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and the Deputy of the Supreme Council Grigory Dyachenko laid flowers at the graves where the heroes were buried.

The republic recalls the events of 30 years ago today. The mourning events that took place in Dubossary were attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, as well as deputies of the Supreme Council Boris German and Oleg Bayev, representing the Dubossary district in parliament.

The Supreme Council adopted at the plenary session legislations relating to education and the preservation of cultural heritage.
