Correction of Legislation for Admission to the Magistracy

Bachelor's graduates will be able to enter the master's program in the specialty in which they studied or in another specialty in a related direction. The Supreme Council adopted the amendments to the law "On Higher and Postgraduate Vocational Education" in the second final reading.

The authors of the changes were the deputies of the Education Committee. As noted by the Head of the Committee Igor Buga, a number of working meetings were held on this law-in-draft with the participation of all interested parties. The deputies got acquainted with the opinion of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, representatives of the Government and the Pridnestrovian State University.

Related areas of training will be determined by the higher education institution in agreement with the Ministry of Education.

The adopted amendments to the law are sent for signature to the PMR President. The law will come into force after the day of its official publication. However, the norms of the law do not apply to students who entered the master's program earlier. The legislative innovation will affect the new set of undergraduates, which will be held in June.
