The Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated workers of the geological industry on their professional holiday.

They recalled today the tragic events that took place on April 1, 1992 in the city of Bendery. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the first President of the PMR Igor Smirnov took part in the commemorative events.

The new Commissioner for Human Rights in Pridnestrovie, the expansion of the rights of entrepreneurs, the results of some ministries and the work of deputies in the districts are in the Deputy Hour program.

Deputies of District City Council of Slobodzeya held a plenary session, at which they considered and approved 7 issues. The deputies of the Supreme Council for the Slobodzeya districts – Sergey Cheban and Pavel Shinkaryuk took part in the session.

The Supreme Council deputies adopted in the first reading the legislations concerning the privatization of housing and the maintenance of water meters.

A package of legislations that regulate the work of entrepreneurs and provide for the expansion of their rights was considered today at the plenary session of the Supreme Council. We are talking about changes and additions to the laws on self-employed persons, patent and simplified taxation systems (these include legal entities).

The Supreme Council deputies considered more than 20 issues at the plenary session today. Several legislations were withdrawn, moved to the next plenary session or rejected by the Supreme Council. A sufficient number of votes during the voting did not gain legislative initiatives related to amendments to the PMR Code of Administrative Offenses.

The Supreme Council supported the candidacy of Vyacheslav Kosinsky for the position of Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR. The Ombudsman has been reappointed. He will protect the interests of citizens for the next 5 years.

Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council was held today under the leadership of Speaker Alexander Korshunov. The parliamentarians considered a number of issues that will be included in the agenda of the next plenary sessions.
