The Supreme Council today at the plenary session adopted the law-in-draft "On measures of state support for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving from the territory of Ukraine and temporarily staying on the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" in the first reading.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and deputies of the Supreme Council today discussed issues of the life of the republic, current problems and ways to solve it.

The memory of the heroes-liberators was honored in Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol and Dubossary districts. The 78th anniversary of the liberation from the German-Romanian invaders was celebrated today in several districts of the republic.

On April 12, 1961, 61 years ago, Soviet pilot Yuri Gagarin launched into space from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This date is remembered in Tiraspol. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Galina Antyufeeva and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy Ilona Tyuryaeva laid fresh flowers today at the granite portrait sculpture of Gagarin on the boulevard named after Gagarin.

Meeting-requiem dedicated to the liberation of Tiraspol from Nazi invaders and Romanian invaders was held at the capital's Memorial of Glory. The commemorative event was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium formed the agenda for the plenary sessions.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the people of Tiraspol on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of the city from the German-Romanian invaders.

Slobodzeya district celebrates the day of liberation from the German-Romanian invaders. Commemorative rallies were held today in Chobruchi and the Russian part of Slobodzeya in honor of the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated the city and village in 1944.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Vadim Kravchuk reported on the work for 2021. The parliamentarian represents the interests of the residents of the "Metallurgical" constituency No. 14  in Rybnitsa.
