The Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Deputies considered a Government law-in-draft designed to encourage citizens to adopt orphans and children without parental care. The legislative initiative was prepared as part of events dedicated to the Year of Family and Family Values.

Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy supported in the first reading the additions to the law “On State Support for Large Families”, which were prepared by deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens Galina Antyufeyeva, Gregory Dyachenko and Oleg Petrik.

Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy proposed to clarify the procedure for establishing the fact of termination of labor relations in court in the PMR Civil Procedure Code and in the PMR Labor Code.

The Committee on Social Policy has begun work on the “Equal Opportunities” new state target program for 2025-2027. The PMR Government presented it to parliamentarians for consideration.

Certified employees of the Investigative Committee and employees of the PMR Prosecutor's Office with class ranks or military ranks will be able to take advantage of this state support measure. Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy at the meeting supported the initiative of the PMR President and the amendments of the PMR Prosecutor.

The Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare listened to reports from the Government on the implementation of state target programs in the field of health and social policy in 2023.
