Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy proposed to clarify the procedure for establishing the fact of termination of labor relations in court in the PMR Civil Procedure Code and in the PMR Labor Code.

The Committee on Social Policy has begun work on the “Equal Opportunities” new state target program for 2025-2027. The PMR Government presented it to parliamentarians for consideration.

Certified employees of the Investigative Committee and employees of the PMR Prosecutor's Office with class ranks or military ranks will be able to take advantage of this state support measure. Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy at the meeting supported the initiative of the PMR President and the amendments of the PMR Prosecutor.

The Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare listened to reports from the Government on the implementation of state target programs in the field of health and social policy in 2023.

One of the issues at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues was a report on the progress of implementation in 2023 of the state program to provide housing for orphans and children without parental care.

Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues at their meeting in the first reading supported the law-in-draft on amending the PMR Labor Code.

Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood discussed a number of relevant legislations at a regular meeting.

The Law “On the Republican Budget for 2024” will set standards according to which children under 7 years old, Suvorov Military College pupils and cadets will be able to use public transport for free throughout the year. The benefit during the academic year for schoolchildren, university students, technical schools and colleges will be 50 percent on urban and suburban routes and 25 percent on intercity routes.

The Committee on Social Policy, Health Care, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues prepared for the second reading a package of legislations on amending the PMR Law “On Labor Protection and Safety” and on introducing amendments and additions to the PMR Labor Code.

The draft law on amendments and additions to the law “On the fundamentals of citizens' health protecting” submitted to Parliament by the PMR Government, has been prepared for the second reading.
