The Supreme Council adopted in April 2024 the legislative initiative of the PMR Prosecutor, which established at the legal level a mechanism that allows employees of organizations to receive all the social benefits due to them in the event that operational search or investigative measures are carried out against their employer. The initiative of the republican prosecutor also initially included amendments to the Labor Code, but these proposals did not find support among the deputy corps. Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy decided to develop a new legislative initiative then. It was considered in the first reading at today's committee meeting.

One of the authors of the legislative initiative, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Sergei Cheban explained that the experience of other states was studied when preparing the legislations. The law enforcement practice of the Russian Federation in particular.

Parliamentarians propose to include a rule according to which the fact of termination of employment relations can be established in court in a special proceeding in the Civil Procedure Code.

The initiative of the deputies proposes to give the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor the authority to develop and approve a normative legal act that will establish the procedure for maintaining labor books in the event of termination of labor relations in court. It is proposed to record the corresponding changes in the Labor Code.

The legislative initiative of the deputies of the Committee on Social Policy to introduce amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Labor Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will be considered by the deputy corps at one of the next plenary meetings in the first reading.
