The Social Policy Committee core issues

Regular meeting of the Committee on Social Policy, Healthcare, Labor, Family and Childhood was held. Deputies discussed a number of legislations developed by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee was the law-in-draft on amendments to the PMR Law “On the social protection of veterans and persons of retirement age”. The deputies decided after discussing the proposed changes with the official representative of the executive body to include the law-in-draft on the agenda of one of the upcoming plenary meetings for consideration in the first reading.

Law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the PMR Law “On state pension provision for citizens in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” has been prepared for adoption for the second reading. Deputies of the relevant Committee discussed the amendments received from subjects of the right to legislative initiative, and unanimously decided to recommend the law-in-draft for adoption in the second reading as a law in the course of one of the plenary meetings. The final decision will be made by the deputy corps.
