News of the Supreme Council

Pridnestrovian minors who use devices that simulate tobacco smoking, as well as adults who involve children in the process of tobacco use and the use of devices that simulate tobacco use, will face administrative responsibility. The corresponding changes in the Administrative Code at the plenary session were adopted in final reading by deputies of the PMR Supreme Council.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments and additions to the law “On Additional Guarantees for the Social Protection of Orphans and Children Left Without Parental Care” in the final reading.

The Code of Administrative Offenses, according to which drivers will be fined for using phones while driving, was supplemented. It is permitted to talk by phone using special gadgets.

One working day will be counted for three days in the working experience for medical personnel, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and volunteers who are struggling with the spread of coronavirus infection in the republic. This is a period of emergency and quarantine. The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft of the PMR President today in two readings.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments to the law “On the status of people's deputies of local Councils of people's deputies of the PMR” in the first reading.

Legal acts can be published not only in the newspaper, but also on the official website. This decision was made by deputies of the PMR Supreme Council in the course of the plenary meeting.

Deputies of the Supreme Council voted in favor of the resolution that approved the adoption of statement in connection with the escalation of tension in the Security Zone by the Moldovan authorities.

The Obnovlenie (Renewal) parliamentary faction discussed a number of legislations that are included to the agenda of the plenary session of the Supreme Council.

Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov congratulated Pridnestrovians on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.

The Supreme Council Presidium approved the agenda for the next plenary meetings.
