Pridnestrovian awards were presented to Russian parliamentarians

The delegation of the Pridnestrovian Parliament and the Tiraspol city council worked at the State Duma during the day. Pridnestrovian deputies Alexander Korshunov, Ruslan Gareev and Vadim Doni met with Russian parliamentarians who represent all factions in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Various issues regarding the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation, support for compatriots, the possibility of simplified obtaining of Russian citizenship for Pridnestrovians, assistance in the area of ​​health care, assistance in solving problems caused by the pandemic, supporting the real sector of the economy in connection with the drought, and many others were raised in the course of the meeting.

The Pridnestrovian deputies had a constructive conversation on the issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation with the Head of the Committee on Social Policy and Labor Yaroslav Nilov and with the head of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov.

Chairman of the United Russia faction in the State Duma Sergei Neverov at the meeting with Alexander Korshunov expressed the hope that systemic inter-parliamentary dialogue would make it possible to outline and approve a short-term and long-term roadmap and a program of joint actions to provide support and assistance to the citizens of Pridnestrovie and the republic as a whole. Sergei Neverov proposed projects and specific programs of cooperation both through the parliaments and faction, and through the party line. Intentions were expressed to extend the Agreement on strengthening cooperation between the United Russia All-Russian party and the Obnovlenie (Renewal) Pridnestrovian party and to adapt a number of party projects on the territory of Pridnestrovie.

The deputies in the course of the meeting with the leadership of the Just Russia faction expressed their wishes about the need for consolidated efforts of all factions of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and deputies to support Pridnestrovie and development of appropriate legal instruments and regulations that would allow this work to be carried out on a systematic basis.

For a special benevolent attitude towards the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, for help and development of relations between the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Council of the PMR Leonid Kalashnikov, Sergei Neverov, Viktor Vodolatsky and Umakhan Umakhanov, Alexander Korshunov presented the highest awards of the Pridnestrovian parliament - honorary badges "For contribution to the cause of parliamentarism". Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representing the interests of Pridnestrovians Sergei Chizhov received from the hands of Alexander Korshunov the state award of the PMR, the Order of Friendship. Deputies of the State Duma and senators of the Federation Council were awarded with jubilee medals "30 years of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" and "30 years of the Supreme Council of the PMR".
