On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Power Engineer's Day!

This year is a jubilee for industry workers. Exactly 100 years ago, the State Plan for the Electrification of Russia, the famous GOELRO, was adopted. It became a symbol of an entire era, a starting point in creating a system of domestic electric power industry and at the same time the first scientifically based and long- term program for the development of the national economy.

The importance of our energy enterprises is growing every year. All technological and innovative solutions today are inconceivable without high-quality and reliable functioning of the energy industry.

Everyone who works at power plants, maintains gas pipelines, power lines and heating networks, has been doing everything to ensure that every school, hospital, and kindergarten is light and warm for decades.

Your work deserves special respect and appreciation. High voltages, 24/7 work hours and increased responsibility - all this is the lot of truly courageous, dedicated people.

I wish all workers and veterans of the industry good health, new achievements, happiness, prosperity, trouble-free work and success in difficult but so necessary work! Peace to you, goodness and harmony!
