News of the Supreme Council

Mass event with this name was held today at the building of the Republican Center for Mother and Child. The organizer of the event is the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov and the Supreme Council Deputy Sergei Pisarenko took over renovated building of the rowing base in Bendery and participated in the traditional memory regatta. The events are timed to the 28th anniversary of the tragedy in Bendery.

The tragic date is remembered today all over the republic. The main mourning events are held in Bendery. They were attended by the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and Deputies Ruslan Gareev, Oleg Petrik, Yuri Kucherenko, Oleg Belyakov, Anton Onufrienko, Sergey Pisarenko, Ivan Nedelkov.

Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council of the constituency No. 42 Andrei Mezhinsky, and Deputies of the Tiraspol City Council in the morning of June 19 laid flowers at the monument to the fallen defenders of Pridnestrovie - employees of the Tirotex enterprise.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov addressed Pridnestrovians on the occasion of mournful date in the history of the PMR. On June 19, 1992, the armed formations of Moldova broke into practically unarmed Pridnestrovian town Bendery.

Chairman of the Supreme Council presented medals to graduates of schools in Tiraspol. This year there are 81 gold medalist and 28 silver medalist in the capital.

Participants in the operation to rescue bank employees in June 1992 gathered in the Bendery branch of Agroprombank.

Graduates from Slobodzeya of the theoretical lyceum complex named after Spelnik and school number 1 were awarded certificates. The children were congratulated on the holiday by the deputy of the PMR Supreme Council of the in the constituency No. 28 Pavel Shinkaryuk.

Graduates of school number 2 in Dnestrovsk were awarded certificates. Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council for the constituency No. 43 “Vostochny” Victor Guzun congratulated the children on graduation during the solemn meeting.
