Solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to the 30th anniversary of the PMR took place after the official opening of the Catherine Park. The distinguished Pridnestrovians were awarded orders and medals by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov and the Chairman of the Government Alexander Martynov. Among the awardees there were the deputies of the Supreme Council.
The park was officially opened in the center of the capital in honor of the Russian Empress Catherine the Great, who signed the decree on the founding of Tiraspol. Its sights were appreciated by the leadership of the Supreme Council and parliamentarians.
