Leaders of the Supreme Council and Deputies of parliament took part in the flower-laying ceremony at the Glory Memorial. Military parade was held in the center of Tiraspol, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the PMR and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Warm words addressed to the republic and the people of Pridnestrovie on the holiday were expressed by the deputy chairman of the Advisory Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies Anna Volkova, Chairman of the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council Alexander Savich and Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council Vadim Levitsky.

Solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to the 30th anniversary of the PMR took place after the official opening of the Catherine Park. The distinguished Pridnestrovians were awarded orders and medals by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov and the Chairman of the Government Alexander Martynov. Among the awardees there were the deputies of the Supreme Council.

The park was officially opened in the center of the capital in honor of the Russian Empress Catherine the Great, who signed the decree on the founding of Tiraspol. Its sights were appreciated by the leadership of the Supreme Council and parliamentarians.
