Achievements of Pridnestrovian science, problems faced by the scientific community, and promising directions for development of scientific activities in our republic are in the focus of attention. Science Day was celebrated in Pridnestrovie on February 8. Today, this event was dedicated to the Republican scientific and practical conference of the teaching staff, it was held at PSU named after T. G. Shevchenko.
Addressing the conference participants, PSU Rector Stepan Beril noted that science has always been and remains the engine of progress, the most important resource for development of society and the state.
The congratulatory address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, addressed to the scientific community, says that the support of scientific and university centers of the republic, preservation of their potential, creation of conditions for fruitful and creative work of scientific workers are among the most important state priorities.
The Speaker of the Parliament expressed confidence that the achievements of Pridnestrovian scientists will be implemented and will contribute to the effective growth of the economy, industry, agriculture, as well as the social sphere of our republic.
