Main results and development plans of Bendery

The restored Dolphin swimming pool was opened in Bendery, the rowing base was reconstructed in 2020. According to the official website of the PMR President, the development of the city beach, the Pobeda and Gorky parks, the Tkachenko Palace of Culture, the Solnechny, Shkolny, 40 Years of the Komsomol parks and a fountain on its territory continues. The Head of the Bendery State Administration Roman Ivanchenko reported to Vadim Krasnoselsky today. Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov and deputies of the Supreme Council representing the interests of Bendery residents took part in the meeting that was held in videoconference mode.

Funds were allocated for nine Bendery educational facilities from the Capital Investment Fund 2020: 7.3 million rubles were spent. Orphans were given 18 comfortable apartments. Increased attention was paid to the roads. As for the transit ones - these are the entrances and exits to the city - they are of republican significance, but are in municipal ownership. They are under a huge load, so additional funding is needed for repairs.

Each neighborhood has a number of secondary roads. The issues of their repair and maintenance are initiated by the deputies. Local budget funds are not enough.

Deputies in the course of the meeting raised issues related to the work of housing and communal services. Voters in the constituencies talk about problems.

The work of the Bendery administration at the end of 2020 was recognized by the President as satisfactory.

The plans for 2021 are to bring two overpasses into proper condition (in the "Floare" area and leading through the railway (Kotovsky - Ermakov), improvement of the central part of the town, construction of a children's entertainment complex in Alexander Nevsky Park, creation of green recreational zones in the coastal part of the city, further development of the park area.

A global renovation of children's and central hospitals is to be completed, as well as a project started but not implemented by Eurasian Integration - the construction of tuberculosis hospital. In addition, there is an idea to create an IT center in Bendery - a modern educational platform for the intellectual development of children and youth, as well as a center for artisans and producers of agricultural goods.
