News of the Supreme Council

The results of the work were summed up in the Ministry of Health today. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood Sergei Cheban took part in the work of the reporting board.

The PMR Supreme Council prepared and sent to the Government a list of questions on the results of the activities of the executive body for 2021.

A clinical diagnostic department for treatment of chronic viral hepatitis has been operating in the republic for more than two months. About 15 people are examined there every day. The branch was opened within the framework of the State Target Program for Prevention of Viral Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. The deputies of the Supreme Council adopted it last summer. It has been already working.

The last year's activities results were summed up today by the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor. The Head of the department Elena Kulichenko told the deputies of the Supreme Council and representatives of state authorities about the social policy of Pridnestrovie.

Deputies worked on some articles of the republican budget at the plenary session of the Supreme Council today. Parliamentarians began to make changes to the main financial document for 2022 in connection with the changing situation around Pridnestrovie that affects the economy of our republic among other things.

The Supreme Council deputies adopted amendments to the law “On Immunoprophylaxis of Infectious Diseases” in the first reading at the plenary online meeting today.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov congratulated workers and veterans of the hydrometeorological service on their professional holiday.

The Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations held a meeting today, to which Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev was invited. The PMR Foreign Minister spoke about the situation around Pridnestrovie and answered the questions of the deputies of the Supreme Council.

Regular meeting of the Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council was held under the leadership of the Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov. The deputies discussed issues that will be included in the agenda of the next plenary sessions.
