The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a weekly working meeting with the heads of state authorities and administration. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov took part in the online meeting.
According to the press service of the PMR President, the heads of state administrations of cities and regions informed Vadim Krasnoselsky about the situation on the ground. The situation is stable. Social payments are made on time and in full. Educational institutions have started the academic year. Solemn assemblies were held everywhere on September 1. On Friday, events dedicated to the Republic Day were held in all settlements. The PMR President expressed gratitude for the high level of their organization. Recommendations are given on the preparation of subsequent cultural events, the season of which will be held in open areas in November – the Day of National Unity.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the capital investment program. They talked about preparing for the autumn-winter period. The President instructed to check the condition of all boiler houses and heating mains, as well as reserves of various types of fuel. In addition, it was instructed to form a stock of sand-salt mixture in advance and prepare special equipment for the snow season.
Among today's instructions is the active involvement of pupils of children's social institutions, including closed ones, in the physical culture and sports life of society. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that all the sites being created should be available to them – new sports and gaming areas, gyms, stadiums, swimming pools. It is necessary to develop training programs, develop a schedule of visits.
The President asked about the bakery plant of Rybnitsa that suspended its activities due to financial difficulties. The head of the district, Viktor Tyagay, said that last week the Tiraspol plant supplied bakery products to social institutions. The Rybnitsa enterprise will resume production from September 7. An advance payment of 200000 rubles has been allocated from the local budget.
Another organization that has faced the problem of late payment of salaries to employees is the Tiraspol Medical College. The President ordered to deal with the situation. The Ministry of Health completed the check at the end of last week. It is noted that the problems are systemic and have been accumulating for years. The educational institution had to pay its employees at the expense of funds received from two sources – from the provision of paid services and from the budget. The confusion in the receipt and distribution of financial resources led to debt to the team. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that this state of affairs is a consequence of the negligent attitude of the management of the technical school and the lack of proper control from the relevant Ministry of Health. The payment of wages under any circumstances should be a top priority, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized. Only after the fulfillment of this obligation can we talk about other expenses.
Another issue related to the medical college discussed at the meeting. Reorganization was carried out by the new academic year – the Tiraspol and Bendery educational institutions were merged. The President indicated as a prerequisite at the stage of discussion of this initiative that students should not experience any negative consequences for them from the merger. Vadim Krasnoselsky received an appeal in which students complain that some of them will now have to travel to classes from Tiraspol to Bendery, although they entered the capital's educational institution. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled his demand, instructing to finalize the merger mechanism.
