A children's camp was opened today at school No. 16 in Bendery. A drawing competition was held on the school grounds in honor of this event and the celebration of Children's Day. All participants received gifts on behalf of deputies in the district: Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and deputies of the Bendery City Council.

The premiere screening of a documentary by the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel about the Bujor Moldovan terrorist group in the early 1990s was held today at the Tiraspol cinema. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg, and Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva were invited to the premiere. There were eyewitnesses of those events.

The Supreme Council approved the Ombudsman's report on the activities of the past year. Vyacheslav Kosinsky spoke at the plenary session, outlining the situation regarding human rights observance in our republic to the deputies.

Amendments to the Civil Procedure Code and the law "On the social rehabilitation of patients with chronic alcoholism, drug addiction or substance abuse" were submitted to the PMR Supreme Court deputies. They will affect the regulation of the procedure for considering cases on sending citizens to a medical and labor dispensary, on changing the terms of stay in such institutions, as well as on early release.
