Landscaping of the Big Fountain in Dubossary

Trees and shrubs were planted today on the territory of the Big Fountain hydrological natural monument in Dubossary. Landscaping work within the framework of the Republican voluntary Saturday work was organized by the Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the constituency number 11 "Central" Boris German together with the Council of People's Deputies of the Dubossary region and the city of Dubossary.

Deputy of the Dubossary city and district council Alexander Yazlovitsky explained that there is a spring in the landscaped area. Drivers often stop near it to get water. It was decided therefore to plant trees and shrubs that will delight the residents of the city and those passing by.

Activists of the volunteer headquarters "We are near!" under the "Youth Renewal" republican movement took part in the voluntary Saturday work together with the deputies.

The Big Fountain hydrological monument of nature is included in the natural reserve fund of Pridnestrovie. It includes spring and green area. Nearby is a stele in memory of the first victims of the aggression by Moldova on November 2, 1990.
