Voluntary Saturday work in Alexander Nevsky Park

07.11.2022

Work has been in full swing in Alexander Nevsky Park since early morning. The already traditional voluntary Saturday work took place there. Many people have come to the Bendery Fortress, like the PMR President himself.

The PMR President recalled that the tradition of holding such voluntary Saturday work in our republic has been preserved since Soviet times. Vadim Krasnoselsky together with employees of the Administration of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic planted oaks and paulownia seedlings this time.

Parliamentarians and employees of the Office of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have been entrusted with a responsible mission – to renew the fence of the Alexander Nevsky Park. Everyone received brushes, paint and gloves. Working together in the park and in the citadel of the fortress, they remembered the first voluntary Saturday work that took place here, on the territory of the Bendery fortress 5 years ago.

The parliamentarians recalled that they worked hard at the clean-up day in the fortress: they cleared the territory of debris, leveled the ground, planted trees, and tidied up the lawn the first year. However, today there was enough work. Although it is not so global now – something needs to be cleaned, something needs to be tinted.

Parliamentarian from one of the capital's constituencies Grigory Dyachenko, who worked in the Bendery Alexander Nevsky Park, arrived with his wife and youngest daughter.

Many people came to Saturday with their children. Little helpers also helped adults. When they got tired, we went to the Carousel Yard. They were able to ride on rides as a reward for their work.
