Social support of the state

The parliamentarians adopted amendments to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)” in the second final reading. We are talking about payments to those who received industrial injuries at now non-existing enterprises. 19 people are registered in social insurance centers throughout the republic today, who worked at enterprises that have now been liquidated and receive similar payments from the republican budget according to the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor of the PMR. However, compensation was paid in the amount of 50% of the amount due to them according to the previous wording of the law. This is from 300 to 1500 rubles. At the initiative of the Government of the PMR, the amount of these payments will be increased. From January 1, 2023, compensation will be paid in full from the republican budget.

According to the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, 309 thousand rubles will be needed for these purposes. The changes will take effect from the new year.
