The current camp is already the 20th in a row. The participants were welcomed by the head of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media, the chairman of the Pridnestrovian Association of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan Igor Buga.
The "Mars" military-patriotic camp was organized by a group of enthusiasts – defenders of Pridnestrovie and internationalist soldiers. Children from all cities and regions of the republic gather in the camp to test their fortitude and resilience every year. They live in tents, alone with nature. The day begins with a general formation, then sports and training sessions take place, for example, the children are taught to disassemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle. This year there are 10 squads, each with an instructor responsible for safety and discipline. The squad commanders also monitor order. The emphasis is on patriotic education of young people. The participants themselves noted that the camp unites them, the children communicate not through messengers and social networks, but in person, in the evening they sing songs around the campfire. The camp will last until the 2nd of August.
