The Issue of July: "The Councils of the People"

The state of economic emergency has been extended, how they are preparing for the elections to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and local government bodies, and what will happen to the financing of socially important programs – read about this in the latest issue of "The Councils of the People" parliamentary newspaper.

The July issue – about the key decisions of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic:

- the state of emergency in Pridnestrovie has been extended until the 9th of August: reduction of gas supplies and its consequences for the budget and the social sphere;

- the Parliament has approved the scheme of electoral constituencies: November 30, 2025 – Single Voting Day;

- the report of the Government of the PMR for 2024: increasing the size of pensions and social benefits, developing the healthcare system, supporting agriculture and preparing for the energy crisis at the end of the year;

- reconstruction of 12 monuments and memorials to WWII soldiers: which objects have already been repaired and what will happen to the state target program in 2025;

- the law toughening the punishment for public demonstration of a deliberate crime, including on the Internet and in the media, has been adopted;

- increased liability for drivers for using a mobile phone while driving;

- reception of citizens with the speaker of parliament: how issues of social protection, land and transport are resolved.
