Memorial events dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Bendery tragedy were held in Tiraspol, Slobodzeya, Dubossary and other cities of the republic. They were attended by deputies of the Supreme and local Councils, public figures.

The top officials of the state laid flowers at the Memorial of Memory and Sorrow in Bendery. The memory of the victims was honored with a minute of silence. Deputies of the Supreme Council of the PMR took part in the memorial events in Bendery.

The 19th of June is the day when armed aggression against civilians in the city of Bendery began. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov addressed the Pridnestrovians on this sad date.

What is unique about Pridnestrovie and why is the Pridnestrovian people an example of preserving national identity? These issues were the subject of a ceremonial meeting in the Supreme Council dedicated to the Year of the Pridnestrovian People. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov addressed the deputies and staff of the parliamentary apparatus.

The day before the start of the Great Patriotic War, a grand reconstruction of the events of the war, including episodes of the Jassy-Kishinev offensive operation, will take place on the city beach of Tiraspol on Saturday, June 21. About 300 people worked out all their actions and roles today. The organizers invite Tiraspol residents and guests of the city to visit the historical show.

The meeting with the participation of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Head of the Administration of the PMR President, members of the Presidiums of the Supreme Council of the PMR Government and the PMR Supreme Council took place at the House of Official Receptions.

The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord will be built in the village of Novotiraspolsky at the request of residents. Archbishop Sawa of Tiraspol and Dubossary consecrated the first stones and the cross on Sunday, June 15. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva and parliamentarian Andrei Mezhinsky prayed together with the parishioners during the service.

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium decided today to hear the report of the PMR Government on the results of its activities for 2024 at a plenary session to be held on June 25.

The deputy of the constituency No. 21 "Slobodzeya" congratulated the medical workers on their professional holiday, the team of the "Rhythmic Dance" ensemble on the 35th anniversary and gave parting words to the graduates of the city school No. 2.

Members of the parliamentary Presidium held a working meeting with the Presidium of the PMR Public Chamber. They discussed current issues in the sphere of economy, social policy and land use.
