Meeting of members of the parliamentary Presidium with the Presidium of the Public Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was held in the briefing hall of the Supreme Council on Monday. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov noted at the very beginning of the discussion of current issues of the republic's life the importance of a constant dialogue between government bodies and representatives of civil society interests. The speaker expressed hope that meetings of deputies with public figures within the walls of the Supreme Council will become regular.

Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vladimir Ladunkin said that the Public Chamber of the VI convocation began its work in March last year. Over the year, on the instructions of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, public figures managed to establish effective interaction with the Pridnestrovian government bodies, including the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Vladimir Ladunkin noted that the reduction in budget revenues, the energy crisis and foreign policy challenges have complicated the lives of Pridnestrovians. Members of the Public Chamber regularly hold meetings with residents of the republic and receive many requests and proposals on a variety of topics. The most pressing issues were discussed in the course of the meeting with the leadership of the parliament and the heads of parliamentary committees and commissions today.

Participants in the working meeting discussed the problems of rural residents, who make up a third of the republic's population. Vladimir Ladunkin said that over-the-counter medications began to be delivered to villages by mail recently at the initiative of the Healthcare Commission of the Public Chamber of the PMR. Residents of villages and towns that do not have pharmacies do not need to go to the nearest large settlements. It is enough to place an order. It will be accepted by pharmacists, who can provide advice if necessary. Medicines are delivered within 3-4 days to the post office, where you can pay and pick up the order. According to the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, today's meeting at the level of the Presidiums was constructive. Interaction between the parliament and the public will continue at the level of commissions and parliamentary committees.
