20.03.2025

Digitalization of public administration has been carried out in Pridnestrovie for the seventh year. The Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Alexander Dimitroglo spoke about the results of this work for 2024 at the reporting board. The report was heard by the leadership of the Government, the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy of the Supreme Council Igor Buga, as well as the heads of the ministries and departments of the republic. The "Electronic Government" Unified Complex is a variety of areas: interdepartmental electronic document management, creation of electronic databases, state land cadastre, implementation of electronic payments, the State Services Portal and other information systems. All this is designed to make people's lives easier. There is still a lot of work to do, but there are successes, the minister noted. The numbers speak for themselves. 214953 bills were paid by electronic payment in 2024 (72% more than in 2023). The total amount was 3 times higher than the result of 2023 (more than 37 million PMR rubles).

The State Services Portal allows you not to depend on the place and time of ordering and receiving the service. This platform presents the services of 25 departments. The Ministry of Digital Development improved the display of information from the Portal website in search engines last year.

The number of users is growing (over 27 thousand today). The possibility of receiving a certificate ordered on the portal through the "Post of Pridnestrovie" was enshrined at the legislative level last year. The Supreme Council made the relevant amendments to the Law "On the Organization of the Provision of Public Services" at the initiative of the Ministry.

The head of the Ministry of Digital Development emphasized the importance of the work of official media. Especially in the context of massive information attacks aimed at destabilizing the Pridnestrovian society, manipulating public opinion and spreading fake news. Alexander Dimitroglo is confident that close cooperation between the media and government agencies and prompt response to information leaks will help maintain stability in society, and officials should promptly explain and comment on journalists.

The issue of protecting children from harmful content has become especially relevant in the information age. Amendments were made to the Law "On the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development" regarding the placement of the age marking sign and liability measures for violations in 2024. The Ministry of Digital Development, together with the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage, conduct an examination before issuing permission to show a film imported from abroad. More than 50 films were checked for compliance with the legislation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the field of child protection. Representatives of ministries and departments expressed their wishes to the minister. Prime Minister Alexander Rosenberg described the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media as "productive and progressive" and assessed its work as reasonably good.
