The solemn meeting dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the formation of Pridnestrovie was held on the eve of the Republic Day in the PMR Supreme Council. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated the staff of the Parliament Apparatus.

The Pridnestrovian Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov and the PMR Supreme Council Deputy Ruslan Gareev took part in the events on the occasion of the 224th anniversary of the 55th Podolsk Infantry Regiment.

The PMR Supreme Council Deputy of the "Slobodzeya" constituency Pavel Shinkaryuk purchased a fixed-route taxi for the residents of the city. The parliamentarian announced this at the celebration of the patronal feast of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Russian part of Slobodzeya.

The annual youth mini-football tournament among non-professional teams was held in the Solnechny microdistrict of Bendery. It was organized by deputy from constituency No. 1 Solnechny, Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and deputies of the Bendery City Council.

The second stage of the dragon boat regatta, as ten-seater canoes are called, was held today on the embankment in Bendery. After the successful performance of the team of the Supreme Council the day before they launch a boat again, they became the third in the overall standings.

"The President's Family for a Healthy Lifestyle" regatta started today in the republic. Competitions among beginners on dragon boats are held for the first time in Pridnestrovie. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky became the initiator and one of the participants. The grand opening and start of the races was given at the Rowing Center in Bendery. The team of the PMR Supreme Council took part in the two-day competition.

31 years ago, on August 25, 1991, important date in the history of the republic, the Supreme Council of the PMSSR adopted the Declaration of Independence of Pridnestrovie.

The decision to reconstruct was made half a century after the opening of the memorial complex on the Kitskany bridgehead in memory of the Iasi-Kishinev operation. The memorial complex was reopened to the public today. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, parliamentarians from the constituencies of Tiraspol, Bendery and Slobodzeya district attended the opening.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov addressed the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and residents of the city of Bendery on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the liberation of the city.
