Bright shots for memory

The last weekend of summer was rich in sporting events. Races on "dragons" were held between the ministries and departments of the country for the first time in the republic. The parliamentary team took part in the two-day regatta. It successfully performed in the first round and became the third, only slightly losing to the team of the Administration of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the team from the Tiraspol State Administration. In the quarter-finals, in the swim with the team of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the struggle was so intense that the winner of the race had to be determined with the help of a photo finish. However, the parliamentary rowers are not upset. They intend to continue training further.

Another event traditional for the end of August is the traditional futsal tournament among non-professionals "Solnechny-2022" in the city of Bendery. The tournament is held under the auspices of the deputy for the district "Solnechny", Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov for the 12th time. This year the tournament brought together 16 teams and more than 150 non-professional athletes. Prize-winners of the tournament received the prizes won in a hard struggle. Cups were handed over to the winners personally by the Speaker of the Parliament. Prizes were won by the teams "Spartak", "Soker" and "Legend" in the junior age category. The teams "Valgala", "Arthouse" and "SPEK" took the podium in the age category from 15 to 17 years. The first place was won by the BAM team among the seniors, the second and third places were taken by the teams Solnechny and Galerka.
