News of the Supreme Council

The Supreme Council opened the autumn session today. There were several issues on the agenda that the parliamentarians started working on in the summer.

The solemn meeting was held at the Palace of the Republic on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of Pridnestrovie. The Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva congratulated on behalf of the leadership of the Parliament and the deputies of the military personnel.

The PMR Armed Forces is 31. The PMR Supreme Council adopted a resolution on the formation of the Republican Guard, which became the prototype of the current Armed Forces on September 6, 1991. The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov and Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva took part in the events dedicated to the holiday.

The draft budget for 2023 was discussed in the course of the meeting with the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The discussion was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov, deputies of parliamentary committees, leadership and members of the PMR Government.

The first meeting of the IV session of the VII convocation of the PMR Supreme Council will be held tomorrow, September 7. This decision was made today by the Presidium of the Pridnestrovian Parliament.

The new issue of the parliamentary newspaper has been published. It contains the main historical dates of August, socially significant laws of the spring session, and the activities of deputies in constituencies.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a weekly working meeting with the heads of state authorities and administration. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov took part in the meeting.

The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov congratulated employees of the prosecution and justice bodies on their professional holiday.

Farmsteads were set up on the central square of the capital in the morning in honor of the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the formation of Pridnestrovie. The richness of the harvest of our land, the products of Pridnestrovian enterprises, the work of Pridnestrovian craftsmen were appreciated by the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov and deputies of the Supreme Council.
