Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers!

Dear residents of Bendery!

I congratulate you on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf on the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Bendery from the German-Romanian invaders!

Joy fills us with the memory of the bright holiday of liberation on this day, at the same time we rejoice and mourn for those who died in one of the most merciless and cruel wars of the last century. Eternal memory of those who, not sparing themselves, survived and won the holy war, who gave their lives for the sake of the prosperity of future generations, for the sake of peace and tranquility, will always be kept in our hearts.

Front-line soldiers and home front workers in the most difficult conditions gave all their strength to defeat the enemy and restore the national economy destroyed by the war. They showed courage and heroism, fortitude of character. Huge thanks and respect to you!

Our duty is to carefully preserve the memory of the great immortal feat of our soldiers, to multiply all the best that was done by our heroes.

Eternal memory to the fallen, glory to the living heroes!

On this significant day, I wish the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, residents of Bendery and all Pridnestrovians health, prosperity, long life and a peaceful sky over heads!
