The parliamentarians considered more than 30 issues at the plenary session this week. New legislations in the sphere of road safety, payment of state duties and the theme of gardening were discussed.

Regular extended meeting dedicated to the modernization of the republic's healthcare system was held in the Administration of the PMR President. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and Head of the profile Committee on Social Policy and Health Care Sergey Cheban took part in it.

Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 21 Pavel Shinkaryuk took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 253rd anniversary of the founding of the city of Slobodzeya.

The PMR Supreme Council adopted the government legislations that are designed to reform the system of taxation of entrepreneurs on the principle of social justice in the final reading.

Deputies discussed at the plenary session in the first reading today a new legislative initiative on the responsible treatment of dogs in Pridnestrovie. This is the third law-in-draft on this issue. It was developed by the Bendery City Council of People's Deputies. The problem once again remains unresolved.

Parliamentarians voted at the plenary session in the second final reading for the abolition of the PMR Law “On Fixed Agricultural Tax”, which has been in force in the republic since 2004.

The Supreme Council adopted law-in-draft designed to establish a special legal status for pilgrims and secure the exclusive right to pilgrimage activities for religious organizations in the first reading.

Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov congratulated residents of Slobodzeya on the anniversary of the founding of the city.

An expanded meeting on the education system of Pridnestrovie was held today at the site of the Presidential Administration, on the initiative of Vadim Krasnoselsky. Speaker Alexander Korshunov, as well as deputies of the profile committee Igor Buga and Andrey Safonov took part in it.
