The first plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the VII convocation will be held on the 8th of December. The corresponding decree was signed today by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Reacting to voters' appeals, protecting their interests, deputies of the Supreme Council of the VI convocation, members of the Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy initiated a number of laws. The press service of the Supreme Council has prepared a selection of basic laws in the direction of the Committee's work.

The Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare considered issues of social protection of Pridnestrovians, as well as draft laws related to state support for large and young families, orphans, protection of youth health and the interests of workers from 2015 to 2020.

Elected deputies of the VII convocation of the PMR Supreme Council addressed with words of gratitude to members of election commissions of all levels, which on a single voting day ensured the election process.

Benefits for war veterans, support for disabled people, additional payments to medical workers and support measures during the period of emergency and quarantine, protection of the interests of workers are the main areas of work of the Committee on Social Policy and Health.

A delegation of representatives of the public of the Republic of Belarus visited Pridnestrovie for the first time. The guests watched the voting process on a single election day, visited a number of enterprises and met with the leadership of the Supreme Council and with compatriots.

The Supreme Council of the VI convocation held its last plenary meeting on December 2, 2020. Despite the fact that the meeting was held online due to quarantine measures, the session was traditionally ended by the national anthem of the PMR.

The Supreme Council adopted amendments and additions to the law "On purchases in the PMR" in two readings at once.
