The Supreme Council, together with the Government, continues to work on improving the law "On purchases in the PMR". This is a new law. It regulates the supply of products for state needs and is fundamentally different from the law that has been in effect since 1999. Now all government purchases must be made at an open auction. Suppliers can go to the auction site and see the list of goods that organizations need. Preference will be given to the supplier whose price and quality of the goods will be the most profitable at the auction.
It was decided to carry out the transition to the new procurement system in stages so as not to disrupt the current work of organizations and institutions. A number of state organizations are already working under the new scheme. This is a so-called pilot project, which was supposed to identify all the weaknesses of the new system.
The Supreme Council supported the proposed changes to the law "On purchases in the PMR" and adopted the law-in-draft in two readings at once.
