Belarusian public activists got acquainted with Pridnestrovie

The elections in Pridnestrovie were held openly and honestly. The Head of the delegation of representatives of the public of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Krupeychenko, told the leadership of the Supreme Council in the course of the meeting in parliament about his observations on a single voting day.

Pridnestrovian parliamentarians Mikhail Burla, Oleg Vasilaty and Alexander Korshunov thanked the representatives of the Republic of Belarus for their attention to our republic and the opportunity to come to Pridnestrovie during the period of quarantine restrictions associated with the closure of the borders of many countries. Alexander Korshunov emphasized: it is important that the guests from the Republic of Belarus were interested in the economic potential of the PMR. They visited the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant in in Rybnitsa.

A delegation of representatives of the public of the Republic of Belarus got acquainted with Pridnestrovie for three days. Maxim Krupeychenko and Alexander Shidlovsky visited other export-oriented enterprises, whose products are known far beyond the Pridnestrovian region.

The guests from Belarus like our republic - a beautiful country, and the Pridnestrovians are kind people with a mentality similar to the Belarusians. Maxim Krupeychenko and Alexander Shidlovsky were told in the Society of Belarusian Culture about how Belarusian compatriots live in Pridnestrovie.

About 10 thousand Belarusians by nationality and about 1000 citizens of the Republic of Belarus live in Pridnestrovie. The Consul of Belarus comes from Chisinau every month and receives citizens, there is no need to go anywhere, all issues are resolved on the spot - in Tiraspol. There are branches of the Society of Belarusian Culture in several cities of Pridnestrovie. Due to quarantine and a ban on meetings, the guests were not able to meet with the Belarusian public. But having visited two small offices of the Tiraspol Society of Belarusian Culture, they confidently declared: like at home - attributes, maps and posters, books, and most importantly - close sincere people.
