Elected deputies of the VII convocation of the PMR Supreme Council are preparing for the first session. 31 parliamentarians have extensive experience of work in the legislative body of power, the majority are elected to parliament in two, three and even six convocations.
Deputies of the VII convocation, after a single voting day, appeal to their voters in social networks and messengers, thank them for their active citizenship and trust in representing the interests of their constituency in the Supreme Council.
Special thanks from parliamentarians - members of election commissions at all levels. On November 29, thousands of people supported the voting process. These are members of 256 precinct, 33 district, 7 territorial and Central election commissions.
The elections held on November 29, 2020 will be remembered by everyone for a long time. The main trends of a single voting day are masks, gloves and disinfectants. There are air recyclers in the premises for voting. But the members of the election commissions were still at risk - there are many chances to meet with the coronavirus when hundreds of people pass through the polling station a day.
Members of election commissions not only met voters at polling stations, but also provided voting at home. This is also a considerable risk in the current conditions.
In its history, the Central Election Commission of the PMR has conducted 7 referendums and already 17 republican election campaigns. Today, approximately 4 thousand people are involved in this system - they are members of election commissions of various levels. 8 more youth election commissions, these are 150 young, creative and enterprising Pridnestrovians. Together they ensure the legality and transparency of all elections held.
